"Just Jump Normally" - A Pole for Whom Wisła Was a Major Success

Jakub Wolny had a remarkable weekend in Wisła, marking his return to form after a challenging previous season where he scored no points. He finished 26th in one competition and climbed to 18th the next day, earning a broad smile and a newfound confidence.

Previously, he had struggled significantly, but his performances in Wisła showed that he could achieve much more when jumping with confidence. "It was great to score some points and to overcome my mental block – just jumping normally has a huge impact," Wolny said after the competitions.

Reflecting on his experience, he admitted to feeling nervous as he aimed to perform well, and noted that his confidence grew after a positive trial jump. He looks forward to upcoming competitions in Titisee-Neustadt and remains hopeful for his selection in the team. However, he is aware he needs to improve the timing of his jumps to truly excel.

The Wisła event concluded with Pius Paschke taking the win, while Poland's best performer, Paweł Wąsek, finished in 11th place.
