In the latest ski jumping World Cup event held in Sapporo, Joséphine Pagnier secured a spot in 17th place. This result came after an impressive comeback, as she moved up from 22nd with a solid second jump that reached 105 meters, accumulating a total of 141 points. Despite her finish, Pagnier successfully clung to her second position in the overall standings.

Leading the pack is Slovenia's Nina Prevc, who remains the overall leader, despite finishing in 10th place after a less-than-stellar second jump. Austrian competitor Eva Pinkelnig triumphed in the Sapporo event, finishing first with 195.7 points. Following closely were Finland's Jenny Rautionaho with 193.3 points and Norway's Eirin Maria Kvandal with 192.5 points.

As the standings currently stand, Pagnier now has 537 points, with Prevc holding a commanding lead at 452 points. The competition remains fierce, with challengers like Yuki Ito and Eirin Maria Kvandal hot on their heels, making for an exciting season ahead.
