Joséphine Pagnier, the talented 21-year-old ski jumper from France, narrowly missed out on a podium finish at a World Cup event in Hinzenbach, Austria. After securing sixth place on Saturday on the small hill, she showcased her resilience by improving her performance on Sunday, achieving impressive jumps of 86.5 and 88.5 meters. With a final score of 237.5 points, she fell just 0.3 points short of claiming a spot on the podium.

Austrian jumper Eva Pinkelnig dominated the competition, soaring to first place with jumps of 90 and 90.5 meters, totaling 246.6 points. Nika Prevc from Slovenia, the leading figure in the World Cup standings, and Austria’s Jacqueline Seifriedsberger rounded out the medal positions.

Despite facing challenges earlier in the season, Pagnier's consistent improvement signals a positive trajectory as she strives to finish the season on a strong note.
