In Engelberg, Lisa Eder narrowly missed the podium in the women's World Cup ski jumping event, finishing fourth with jumps of 130 and 125 meters. She placed just 9.8 points behind Norway's Thea Minyan Bkjörseth, who took the third spot. The event was won by Slovenia's Nika Prevc, who delivered an impressive performance with jumps of 140 and 134.5 meters.
Eder reflected positively on her performance, noting that she improved from her previous day’s efforts. She expressed satisfaction with her jumps considering the stunning setting of Engelberg. Another Austrian, Jacqueline Seifriedsberger, made it into the top ten, finishing eighth. Eva Pinkelnig finished 11th, narrowly missing the points, while Julia Mühlbacher, Sara Marita Kramer, and 17-year-old newcomer Meghann Wadsak also contributed to the team’s overall performance by securing 18th, 25th, and 30th places respectively. A follow-up World Cup event is scheduled in Engelberg on Sunday at 11:30 AM.
