Paweł Wąsek surprised everyone in the trial series with a jump of 98.5 meters, finishing in 7th place. Aleksander Zniszczoł also impressed with a jump of 97 meters, landing him in 15th place. The performance of the Polish team has raised expectations ahead of the competition for medals.
In the trial series, the results were exciting despite not all Polish ski jumpers having stellar performances in the qualifying rounds. Only four competitors crossed over to the 100-meter mark during the series, making it evident that the competition would be tough. The best jump was executed by Anže Lanisek with a distance of 102 meters, followed closely by Marius Lindvik and Andreas Wellinger.
As a defending World Champion, Piotr Żyła must be recognized and his efforts to reclaim the title will surely be under scrutiny during the upcoming championship. The Polish contingent is well-prepared, and fans are eager for a successful outing in the competition ahead!
