Austrians once again dominated the events during the Four Hills Tournament, with Stefan Kraft winning in Innsbruck ahead of Jan Hoerl and Daniel Tschofenig. However, it is Tschofenig who now leads the World Cup standings, following significant changes in the classification. Paweł Wąsek achieved an impressive fifth place finish, marking a crucial rise in his performance.
In Innsbruck, three Polish jumpers earned points: Wąsek (5th), Dawid Kubacki (26th), and Jakub Wolny (24th). With this result, Wąsek has maintained his position as the best Polish ski jumper, currently ranking 13th in the overall standings. Other Polish jumpers trailing behind include Aleksander Zniszczoł (20th), Jakub Wolny (28th), Kamil Stoch (34th), Dawid Kubacki (35th), and Piotr Żyła (43rd).
The second-place jumpers’ ranking also saw changes. Leading the classification now is Daniel Tschofenig with 856 points, closely followed by Jan Hoerl with 836 points and Pius Paschke with 826 points.
The winner of the 73rd edition of the Four Hills Tournament will be revealed on January 6 in Bischofshofen, with qualifications set for the day before. For live coverage, tune into the Przegląd Sportowy Onet site.
