Kacper Juroszek will not participate in the Saturday World Cup competition in Wisła after being disqualified for having a non-compliant suit. The 23-year-old commented on his jumps, stating, "The further into the woods, the worse it got." He added, "My position is not yet stable enough to handle the falling snow, which definitely threw me off my rhythm."
In the official training series, Kacper Juroszek jumped 122 m and 110.5 m, which positioned him in the fifth and sixth dozens, respectively. He managed only 107.5 m in the qualifications and, to make matters worse, was disqualified.
"The measurement was variable, so we checked it beforehand, but as you know, during competitions, the body changes a bit and unfortunately, it turned out like this," explained the jumper.
Juroszek reflected on the day, saying, "The first jump was normal and smooth. I also had some problems with the take-off, particularly transitioning into the flight phase. It threw me off my rhythm. Plus, this is also the first World Cup competition of the season, and I imposed a bit too much pressure on myself."
