After the ski jumping World Cup weekend in Ruka, Finland, the Norwegian team harshly criticized the jury's decisions. Halvor Egner Granerud expressed that the situation was dire, stating, "It was terrible, the wind affected my skis, and I had to make an emergency landing." Robert Johansson added that the jury was risking athletes' health by allowing them to compete in such conditions. FIS director Sandro Pertile, in response, highlighted the nature of ski jumping and defended the jury, stating, "If athletes cannot accept that conditions vary for everyone, perhaps they should consider a different sport." He praised the jury for their professionalism during one of the most challenging events in recent years.
