At the opening of the Summer Grand Prix series in Courchevel, French ski jumpers Valentin Foubert and Joséphine Pagnier demonstrated their remarkable talents. Foubert showcased an impressive performance, securing a spot on the podium twice with second-place finishes on both Tuesday and Wednesday. On the first day, he narrowly trailed behind Austrian athlete Stefan Kraft, and the following evening, he was again outperformed by Kraft, along with Norwegian competitor Fredrik Villumstad, who claimed victories on both days.

Meanwhile, Joséphine Pagnier, another rising star in the French ski jumping scene, earned a commendable third place on Wednesday, finishing behind Japan's Sara Takanashi, after initially placing fifth the day before.

This event marks the beginning of the summer Grand Prix series, a competition similar to the winter World Cup, taking place on the Courchevel jumps that are being specially prepared for the upcoming 2030 Winter Olympics in the French Alps. The summer series will run until early October, leading up to the winter season, which is set to commence on November 22 in Lillehammer, Norway.
