With this victory, he becomes only the fourth Polish athlete to achieve this honor, joining the ranks of legends like Adam Małysz, Maciej Kot, and Dawid Kubacki.

Heading into the decisive competition in Klingenthal, Wąsek was already leading the summer series, with a narrow 18-point advantage over his closest competitor, Stefan Kraft. The stakes were high, and the tension palpable.

As the competition unfolded, Wąsek's path to victory was primarily a contest among just three contenders.
