This event marked the third stage of the prestigious tournament, where the Japanese jumper Ryoyu Kobayashi, a previous champion, finished in second place with 258.7 points, followed closely by Austrian Michael Hayboeck at third with 254 points.

The competition faced challenging wind conditions towards the end, impacting several athletes, including current World Cup leader Stefan Kraft, who had a delayed jump and ultimately placed sixth, trailing Hoerl by 19.2 points. French jumper Valentin Foubert narrowly missed scoring points, finishing in 37th place after a jump measured at 115 meters.
