Johann André Forfang (29) delivered the best performance among the Norwegians during Saturday's competition in Innsbruck.

On Saturday, the elite of ski jumping gathered in Innsbruck for the third event of the Four Hills Tournament. In duels earlier that day, all Norwegians, except for Halvor Egner Granerud, managed to advance to the final round.

Norway's biggest hope, Johann André Forfang, jumped 130.5 meters to claim fourth place, trailing behind Austrian Jan Hörl, who led before the finals. Hörl was followed by fellow compatriots Stefan Kraft and Daniel Tschofenig.

As the finals commenced Saturday afternoon, the Austrians once again demonstrated their dominance on home soil. Ultimately, it was Kraft who amassed the most points with a score of 273.3 after jumping 132.5 meters in the final round. Following him were Hörl and Tschofenig in second and third places, respectively.

Forfang ultimately finished in sixth place after jumping 122 meters in the final round, totaling 252.5 points—20.8 points behind winner Kraft.

Here is how the other Norwegians fared: Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal ranked 14th, Fredrik Villumstad placed 18th, Benjamin Østvold came in 19th, and Marius Lindvik finished 27th.

The last event of the Four Hills Tournament will take place in Bischofshofen on Monday.
