Norwegians are facing increasing troubles! The International Ski Federation has officially informed the world's media covering ski jumping that it is launching an investigation into two disqualified competitors from the host nation during the World Championships. Moreover, the Independent Ethics and Compliance Office of the FIS will also look into the case of Nordic combined athlete Joergen Graabaka.

Marius Lindvik and Johann Andre Forfang have been disqualified following checks on their suits that did not comply with equipment regulations. The FIS's investigation will assess possible illegal manipulation of equipment by the Norwegian team.

In addition, reports suggest that Germany is working hard to prove that prohibited equipment was used on a smaller hill as well, which would change the medal allocations. Supposedly, if these findings are validated, gold would go to Andreas Wellinger, with the bronze going to Karl Geiger. Notably, there's also an emphasis on the implications of such findings that could lead to the loss of medals for Norway, which is dominant in cross-country skiing.

The press release concluded with remarks concerning Graabaka's disqualification, stating it was due to violations related to his bindings. The FIS is continuing its scrutiny regarding the compliance of the equipment submitted for inspection."
