Very bad news came from the Swedish town of Falun! During the second round of the ongoing FIS Cup competition, Polish ski jumper Szymon Byrski suffered a fall. After this incident, the organizers were forced to interrupt the competition while medical assistance was provided to the Polish athlete. According to coach Daniel Kwiatkowski, who spoke with Dominik Formela from Skijumping.pl, Byrski is currently in the hospital. However, there is also some good news.

In the competition, three Polish representatives advanced to the second series. After the first jump, Wiktor Szozda and Tomasz Pilch were in the third dozen, while Szymon Byrski occupied the best position in 13th place.

Unfortunately, in the second series, the best Polish competitor sustained a painful fall after jumping 89 m. Polish fans were particularly worried since this incident necessitated a break in the competition.
