Jakub Wolny certainly did not expect such an ending to this year's Four Hills Tournament. The 29-year-old, as the only Polish representative, failed to qualify for the competition in Bischofshofen. After a jump of only 121.5 m, he placed 52nd out of the competitors, a result he will want to forget as soon as possible.

This outcome is surprising because although Wolny has performed inconsistently this season, he has managed to score points in several World Cup competitions. Currently, in the overall World Cup ranking, he sits in 28th place with a total of 71 points. A similar situation was seen in the Four Hills Tournament, where with a score of 579.8 points he also ranked 28th. However, it is already clear he will not increase his score.

In the Monday competition, which will conclude the prestigious tournament, four Polish skiers will take part. Paweł Wąsek shone in the qualifications, leading the group with a jump of 136 m, ultimately finishing in fourth place. Another Polish jumper, Aleksander Zniszczol, finished in 19th place and in the first series, he will face his teammate, Piotr Żyła, who qualified in 31st place.
