The event took place under the watchful eyes of Polish supporters at the Adam Małysz ski jump in Wiśla during Saturday's individual competition. Fans were expecting better results, but after the first round, there were no Polish representatives in the top ten, and several competitors were eliminated after their initial jumps, including Kamil Stoch, who only managed to land 120.5 meters, resulting in a disheartening 33rd place finish. This performance adds to Stoch's struggles this winter and marks his least favorable outcome at Wisła in his entire career.

Paweł Wąsek stood out as the best Polish jumper in the first round, reaching a jump of 125.5 meters, placing him 11th overall after the first round. Alongside Wąsek, three other jumpers advanced to the second round: Aleksander Zniszczoł (18th), Dawid Kubacki (22nd), and Jakub Wolny (27th).

Unfortunately, veteran jumpers Kamil Stoch, Maciej Kot, and Piotr Żyła did not qualify for the finals. Particularly disappointing was Piotr Żyła's outcome, as he had placed 7th in the Friday qualifiers.

For Kamil Stoch, this marks the second time this season that he failed to advance to the finals. His debut in Lillehammer saw him finish 35th. The winter has been particularly rough for Stoch, as previously he secured 28th and 27th positions in the following competitions at Lillehammer and the first round in Ruka. The only time he reached the second tier this season was in the second Ruka event, concluding it in 14th place.

As the hopes rose for an improvement following his performance in Ruka, the initial rounds in Wisła struck down expectations with a brutal reminder of the challenges faced this season.
