Disqualification Reason for Aleksander Zniszczol in Ga-Pa Revealed

Aleksander Zniszczol did not advance to the second round of the Four Hills Tournament in Ga-Pa. The Polish skier not only lost to German Felix Hoffmann but was also disqualified for having an irregular suit. "The suit was too big at the hips," confessed Zniszczol in an interview with Eurosport.
Polish fans had high hopes for Zniszczol, who had performed well in the training sessions. Unfortunately, he jumped 125.5 meters but lost out as Hoffmann achieved 124 meters but had better scores. Zniszczol was thus disqualified, and his result was not counted.
In further discussions, Zniszczol expressed his desire to remain calm but found it difficult to do so. He mentioned receiving a new suit before the competition, but this decision turned out to be misguided. The control official, Christian Kathol, contested Zniszczol's attire.
Zniszczol has now missed the opportunity for a good placement in the Four Hills Tournament, similarly to his experience in Oberstdorf where he was eliminated after the first round. He remains hopeful for a better performance in the Austrian segment of the competition, although he cannot expect a high ranking overall.
