The organizers of the World Cup in Engelberg faced multiple challenges on Sunday morning, leading to the postponement of qualifications to 9:15 AM, which still did not start on time. According to Kacper Merk from Eurosport, the delay was caused by the late arrival of one of the judges. "Let's just say—morning qualifications are for true hardcore fans," the journalist noted on X platform.

Morning qualifications generated significant excitement, with strong winds and heavy rain affecting the jumpers. Austrian Maximilian Ortner emerged as the best performer, achieving a distance of 134 meters. Jakub Wolny of Poland secured fifth place with a jump of 126 meters.

The qualifications didn't start on time, as they were scheduled for 9:15 AM but faced a delay due to the absence of a judge at their post. Kacper Merk reported that, "Let’s agree—morning qualifications flooded with rain are for real hardcore athletes. They started with a delay because one of the judges didn’t make it to work on time."

The second competition of the World Cup in Engelberg is set to commence at 4 PM, contingent on the weather remaining favorable. Updates will be available on the Przegląd Sportowy Onet website.
