In the Willingen competition, Dawid Kubacki emerged as the best performing Pole by finishing in 14th place and earning a bonus of 2000 Swiss francs (around 9000 zł). His performance was a bright spot for the Polish team, with three other athletes – Paweł Wąsek, Jakub Wolny, and Piotr Żyła – also advancing to the second series after a strong first round.

The event unfolded favorably for the Poles, as four Polish jumpers made it to the second series. The only exception was Aleksander Zniszczoł, who managed 122 meters in the first series but did not advance. In the final standings, Daniel Tschofenig claimed victory by collecting a bonus of 13,000 francs, thereby extending his lead in the World Cup standings, now holding 1146 points with a 103-point advantage over his compatriot Jan Hoerlem.

Further details on the competition and schedule indicate that the next contest will be held on Sunday, February 2, preceded by qualifications beginning at 14:30, with the main event scheduled for 16:10.
