"Cool Atmosphere" – World Championship Bronze for Austria’s Mixed Eagle Team!

At the conclusion of the ski jumping events at the Nordic Junior Ski World Championships in Lake Placid, Austria’s mixed team won the bronze medal in the mixed competition. The Austrian team, composed of Sara Pokorny, Meghann Wadsak, Stephan Embacher, and Simon Steinberger, scored 834.7 points. They trailed Slovenia, who scored 919.8 points, and the USA, with 861.6 points.

For the two athletes from Tirol, this was already their third medal at the championships. Stephan Embacher not only contributed to the team’s success but also won the individual event, while his teammate Simon Steinberger finished third in the individual competition. "We’re leaving home satisfied!" Embacher remarked, highlighting the great team atmosphere and the positive energy they brought into the competition.

The win, celebrated amid a cool and upbeat mood within the team, capped off an eventful day in Lake Placid and set the stage for further success in future competitions.
