— Today's jumps have given Paweł Wąsek a lot of confidence; he is on the right path to jump to the top level. The speed on the takeoff is increasing, the technique is stabilizing, and when we are dealing with stabilization, we can take further steps — says Thomas Thurnbichler about our currently best jumper. The coach summarized the Saturday competition in Wiśla.

— Kuba scored his first points after almost a three-year break. Today, his aim was a slightly more aggressive approach, and he certainly succeeded. It is good to see that he is scoring again because we definitely need him in the upcoming years. Paweł still has potential for more, but he has delivered two good jumps. Olek's second jump was at the limit, but it was not easy for him to jump in front of his audience. I noticed this last summer as well. I believe these jumps today will help him relax before tomorrow. Dawid needs a bit more energy — summarized the performance of our jumpers by Thomas Thurnbichler.

Paweł Wąsek performed the best among the White-Reds, finishing in 11th place. Points were also scored by Aleksander Zniszczoł, Dawid Kubacki, and Jakub Wolny.

— We continue the process; I would like all athletes to make two good jumps. As I mentioned before the weekend, the aim is two spots in the top ten, — the coach repeated.

Thomas Thurnbichler: we are not far from the top

— Of course, I cannot be fully satisfied with these results. There were no places in the top ten today, but we are not far from them. If Paweł and Olek make two good jumps, they can be in the top ten, — commented Thurnbichler.

— Many factors contribute to a place in the top. While Paweł had over eight points in his second jump, the winner lost two points. This is significant. I think if he had favorable wind conditions, he would have jumped over 130 m. Regardless, these jumps gave him a lot of confidence; he is on the right way to join the top ranks. The speed on the inrun is increasing, the technique is stabilizing, and when we deal with stabilization, we can take further steps — he concluded.
