The atmosphere at the World Cup opening event was described as chaotic, particularly regarding the technology used to monitor ski jump suits. Nicole Konderla expressed her feelings of confusion and anxiety during the Eurosport interview, stating, "Everyone up there seems unsure of what is happening. There was a bit of tension. I've been told to calm down, but it’s the first competition and it’s a bit overwhelming."

The Polish team secured seventh place in the mixed team competition, with Paweł Wąsek performing strongly, while fellow competitors Nicole Konderla and Anna Twardosz struggled to keep pace. Konderla noted that although the atmosphere was tense, her second jump showed improvement, and she appreciated her teammates for their support through the event.

Konderla highlighted the introduction of new regulations this season, which included embedding chips in the suits for monitoring, leading to the added layer of confusion at the top of the jump. She remarked on the general uproar surrounding these changes, saying, "There’s a lot of chaos concerning the suits and the new chip system. Nobody seems to know what’s going on, and it added some unnecessary stress before the jumps."
