In an impressive display of skill, Daniel Tschofenig clinched first place in the qualifications for the Summer Grand Prix in Hinzenbach. Leading the Polish competitors was Dawid Kubacki, who secured the fifth spot. Notably, Paweł Wąsek, who had previously triumphed in two events in Rasnov the week before, did not perform as well this time around.

As the Summer Grand Prix in ski jumping heads into a crucial phase, many top athletes are present on the start list for the upcoming contests in Hinzenbach. Only events in Austria and Klingenthal, Germany, remain in this competitive series.

In Saturday's qualification round, Dawid Kubacki shone brightly, registering a jump of 88 meters, which allowed him to maintain his fifth-place standing from the earlier training session. His teammate Jakub Wolny followed closely, landing at a distance just a meter shorter to finish in ninth. Meanwhile, Paweł Wąsek, who is the runner-up in the Summer Grand Prix standings, finished 21st with a jump of 82.5 meters, and Kacper Juroszek placed 27th with a jump of 81 meters.

Austrians showcased their dominance in the competition, with Daniel Tschofenig taking the top spot after jumping 88 meters, followed by Jan Hoerl in second at 87 meters, and Stephan Embacher finishing third with an impressive jump of 89.5 meters.

All eyes will be on the events set to kick off at 15:00.
