This is Not the End of the Fuss Over Alexander Stoeckl! PZN Movement

The Polish Ski Association (PZN) board had long refrained from commenting on the unexpected departure of Alexander Stoeckl. In an interview with Super Express, board member Rafał Kot revealed that the organization has recently extended an invitation to Stoeckl, as well as to Filip Rzepecki—who is responsible for alpine skiing matters—to join the board. The aim is to address longstanding communication issues and resolve multiple ambiguities that have arisen.

Kot stated, “We have sent an invitation to Alex and also to Filip Rzepecki so they could appear at the board meeting. They are still employees of PZN. We want to meet with them as a larger group and clarify the communication problems.” He also mentioned that while there is no guarantee that Alexander will accept the invitation, it would be ideal for him to have a private conversation with Adam Małysz and the board to settle the issues, which have grown increasingly confusing.

This move comes after Stoeckl’s sudden exit on Friday, which was accompanied by a media statement in which he expressed that he was deeply hurt by comments made by Adam Małysz during the program ‘Trzecia Seria’. According to Stoeckl, Małysz had expressed disappointment with his work—a sentiment that stung even more given that, in private, the board president had reportedly no such reservations. An extraordinary meeting of the PZN authorities is set to take place on Saturday to address these issues.
