Adam Małysz Received a Blow from Norway – His Move Criticized

Adam Małysz has reportedly taken a hit from Norway. The Norwegian camp has not let up on him, and the Polish Ski Association has parted ways with Alexander Stoeckl after he could not withstand public criticism from the association’s president. The former director, once a Polish champion, is now being evaluated very critically.
Clas Brede Brathen, the former manager of the Norwegian ski jumping team, described the situation in an interview with Dagbladet as "sad" and pointed out that the communication culture within the association has huge potential for improvement. He stressed that in such circumstances, organized and direct communication is expected rather than letting the media take over.
Following a video conference in which mutual accusations and doubts were clarified, the resignation was accepted in an atmosphere of mutual understanding. PZN board member Rafał Kot confirmed that both parties thanked each other for their cooperation. The article also notes that Norway’s reaction to Adam Małysz’s actions has been exceptionally harsh.
