Adam Małysz Revealed the Whole Truth on the Upcoming World Cup in Wisła
There is no way the World Cup in Ski Jumping in Wisła can occur under conditions other than snowy. However, this is not everything. Adam Małysz stressed that the situation in ski jumping will deteriorate and spoke directly about the need for a massive revolution. But here is a serious problem.

Recently, it seemed that over the upcoming weekend in Wisła, jumpers could land on artificial surfaces. This was due to the lack of snow. However, that situation is outdated now.
— We transported snow from Kubalonka, we had stocked quite a bit. It seemed to be a lot, but three very warm days came along, and it rained. Therefore, only 20 centimeters of snow cover is left, so we need to transport more and pray for a cooler night to add some. So far, that hasn't happened, but forecasts say it might snow lightly on Thursday — the president of the Polish Ski Association, Adam Małysz, said.
Adam Małysz States: No Chance
There will definitely be no return to artificial surfaces for the upcoming weekend. — There is no chance anymore because just removing the nets, clearing the snow from the take-off and landing area is a really lengthy process — Małysz adds.
However, PZN's president points to other challenges that ski jumping is facing. — If FIS does not quickly come up with some alternative and change the whole system of ski jumping... I mean that it should start appealing to the fans again. In my opinion, the weather will get worse, especially regarding the wind — stresses Małysz, returning to an idea that recently seemed unrealistic.
Such a Solution Mentioned by Małysz
— I don't know if the solution would be to try to build a jump in some sort of hall or enclosed way. I know that these are enormous costs, but maybe it will come to that, and something like this will finally be built? That seems to be the only solution. The question is, who can afford that? Today, fewer and fewer event organizers can afford to conduct the World Cup...
Qualifications will be held on Friday at 18:00. Individual competitions are planned for Saturday and Sunday (at 15:05 and 15:15). In trainer Thomas Thurnbichler's squad are: Paweł Wąsek, Aleksander Zniszczoł, Dawid Kubacki, Kamil Stoch, and Jakub Wolny, who competed last weekend in Ruka. They will be joined by Maciej Kot, who we saw at the season opener in Lillehammer, as well as Piotr Żyła, Kacper Juroszek, and Andrzej Stękała.
