Skoki narciarskie\n\nThe embarrassment for Polish ski jumpers continues. In Friday's Continental Cup competition in Engelberg, 52-year-old Noriaki Kasai outperformed all of our representatives, and the following day, the legendary athlete confirmed that several of the Polish team members still have no chance against him. This time, the veteran from Japan surpassed four Polish jumpers, as a total of 29 names were behind him in the ranking.\n\nDespite his age, Kasai shows no signs of retiring from ski jumping. The famous jumper, who started competing in the World Cup back in the 1980s and competed against the likes of Adam Małysz, has no intention of stopping his participation in international competitions. Currently, he is competing in the Continental Cup and is performing surprisingly well.\n\nOn Friday, the 52-year-old athlete secured the 14th position, surpassing each of the Polish competitors who participated in the event. This included Klemens Joniak, Tymoteusz Amilkiewicz, Kacper Juroszek, Maciej Kot, Szymon Byrski, and Andrzej Stękała.\n\nOn Saturday, although Kasai performed slightly worse, he still made it to the second round. Unfortunately, Amilkiewicz (33rd place), Joniak (36th place), and Stękala (38th place) did not achieve the same success. Ultimately, Kasai placed 23rd, still outperforming Byrski, who finished in 29th place.\n\nBefore the legendary Asian athlete was two Poles. Juroszek was 21st, edging him out by 1.6 points, while Kot finished in 18th place, surpassing the older competitor by 4.9 points.\n\nSee also: Dramatic situation for Polish ski jumping.
