Victory for Thomas Rettenegger in PCR at Tschagguns

Under a clear blue sky, the Provisional Competition Round of the Men’s FIS Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix took place in Tschagguns, Austria, this evening. A total of 45 competitors from 12 different nations participated in the official training session and the ensuing PCR.

Among them, four athletes soared to impressive heights, reaching the 100-meter mark, with Austrian Thomas Rettenegger claiming the top spot. Rettenegger amassed 143.9 points to secure a celebrated victory at home.

Estonian Kristjan Ilves finished in second place with 138.5 points, while fellow Austrian Martin Fritz rounded out the podium in third with 135.4 points. Meanwhile, teammate Franz-Josef Rehrl secured the fourth position, also achieving a 100-meter jump and scoring 131.4 points.
