Nowak Claims First Provisional Competition Round at Grand Prix 2024 in Tschagguns

In Tschagguns, Austria, the Provisional Competition Round (PCR) for the Women’s FIS Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix unfolded under warm summer conditions today.

A total of 27 athletes from 9 nations gathered to participate, featuring a training jump followed by the competitive round.

German skier Jenny Nowak emerged victorious in this inaugural PCR of the Summer Grand Prix, achieving a jump of 91 meters, which earned her a total of 124.7 points.

Following her, her compatriot Maria Gerboth secured the second spot with a jump of 92.5 meters and a score of 121.5 points.

French competitor Lena Brocard took the third position, recording a jump of 91 meters for a total of 120.9 points. Notably, local favorite Lisa Hirner from Austria jumped the longest distance of the day at 94.5 meters, finishing in fourth place with 118.5 points.
