Ticket sales for the Nordic World Ski Championships, scheduled to take place in Trondheim from February 26 to March 9, 2025, have already surpassed 100,000. The organizers are targeting a total of 220,000 tickets sold for the event.
The enthusiastic ticket sales began at a faster pace than those recorded in previous years, notably surpassing sales during the 2011 World Championships held at Holmenkollen, where the 100,000 ticket mark was reached by the end of October the previous year.
Åge Skinstad, the head of the organizing committee in Trondheim, expressed satisfaction with reaching this milestone.
The most popular events among spectators so far include the relay races, the 50-kilometer race, and the ski jumping large hill competition.
