Riiber Unable to Reach Podium in Ruka

In the Nordic combined competition held in Ruka, Jarl Magnus Riiber was unable to catch up with Johannes Rydzek during the cross-country skiing segment. Starting the race in fourth place, Riiber was 1.08 minutes behind after the ski jumping part earlier that day.
Despite having a chance to achieve his 100th podium finish, Riiber lacked the strength in the final stretch. Rydzek secured his first World Cup victory since January 2019. Riiber, who has faced various challenges including injuries and a health scare, managed to finish fourth despite a chaotic race day.
Jens Lurås Oftebro finished sixth, while Jørgen Graabak and Andreas Skoglund finished in eighth and ninth places respectively. The Ruka Tour concludes with a competition on Sunday, before the World Cup moves to Lillehammer next week.
