Riiber Climbs in the Record List

As of Friday, the Norwegian athlete Jarl Magnus Riiber has secured a position as the ninth most successful participant in World Championships history. On Saturday, he stands a chance to add another victory to his collection.

Having already won his first gold in Trondheim, Riiber can clinch his tenth title if he triumphs in the individual event from the normal hill. This would enable him to ascend to sixth place in the all-time gold medal count. He is currently positioned as the ninth ranked participant.

The 29-year-old is set to compete three more times in Trondheim before ending his career in four weeks. For two years, he has held the lead in the rankings of the best Nordic Combined athletes in World Championships history.
