Originally published in Eurosport on February 04, 2024
Jarl Magnus Riiber once again showcased his unparalleled skill as he secured victory in the final segment of the Seefeld Triple on Sunday. Despite challenging wind conditions that forced the cancellation of the ski jumping portion of the event, Riiber entered the final round with an advantage due to his performance during Thursday's provisional jump.
In the 12.5 km cross-country race, Riiber powered through to an impressive solo sprint at the finish line, marking his third triumph in the Seefeld event. This win not only reaffirmed his prowess but also clinched him the overall Seefeld Triple title.
Jørgen Graabak finished strong in second place, crossing the line 23 seconds behind Riiber. Meanwhile, Austria's Stefan Rettenegger rounded out the podium, securing third place for the day.
