The Provisional Competition Round (PCR) for the Women’s Viessmann FIS Nordic Combined World Cup took place today under cloudy skies in Schonach. A total of 31 athletes representing 11 nations participated, each completing one training jump followed by the PCR.

Japan’s Haruka Kasai secured victory with an impressive jump of 93.5 meters, earning 113.6 points.

The day’s longest jump came from Germany’s Maria Gerboth, who soared to 98 meters. Her strong performance earned her 110.6 points and second place.

Third place went to Haruka’s sister, Yuna Kasai, who achieved 92.5 meters and scored 110 points to round out the podium.

The Women’s Individual Gundersen competition is set to begin tomorrow at 10:45 CET.
