Olympic Veterans Steer U.S. Nordic Combined Team into the 2024-25 Season

PARK CITY, UtahU.S. Ski & Snowboard has officially unveiled the 14 athletes who will represent the U.S. Nordic Combined Team for the 2024-25 season.

Leading the men's contingent are Ben Loomis, a two-time Olympian and four-time World Championships team member, along with Stephen Schumann, who competed in the 2022 Olympics and the 2023 World Championships. The women's lineup will be spearheaded by Annika Malacinski, also a two-time World Championships team member.

The nordic combined season is set to launch in Ruka, Finland, on November 28, marking the first World Cup event of the season. The World Cup circuit will conclude for the women in Oslo, Norway, from March 14-16, followed by the men's finals in Lahti, Finland, on March 21-23.

"I’m thrilled to announce this year’s nordic combined teams!" said Ski Jumping/Nordic Combined Sport Director Anders Johnson. "Their impressive progress over the past year has been remarkable and a true testament to their hard work and dedication. I look forward to watching this team excel this season on the World Cup tour and at the World Championships in Trondheim, Norway."
