Laurent Mühletaler triumphed in the overall standings of the Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix, which took place over the weekend at the picturesque Chaux-Neuve hill in the Haut-Doubs region. Mühletaler secured the top spot ahead of French rival Mattéo Braud and Switzerland's Pascal Muller, who finished in second and third place respectively.
The competition showcased impressive performances from both Mühletaler and Braud, underscoring their prowess in the sport. However, it’s worth noting that the event was missing many of the sport’s elite, with 38 of the world’s top 40 athletes absent from the competition. Regardless of the absence of these top competitors, the achievements of those who participated were celebrated with enthusiasm at the conclusion of the event.
