Nordic Combined: Jarl Magnus Riiber Wins at Lahti World Cup
Jarl Magnus Riiber made a strong comeback, winning the World Cup stage in Lahti, Finland. After a disappointing performance at the Beijing Olympics, where he did not medal, Riiber successfully claimed victory by competing in an event featuring ski jumping on a HS 130 ramp followed by a 10 km cross-country ski race.
Finishing 27.1 seconds ahead, he outpaced Germany's Vinzenz Geiger and Austria's Johannes Lamparter, who were second and third, respectively. Laurent Muhlethaler of France finished in sixteenth place, 1 minute and 34.9 seconds behind Riiber.
