Norwegian Jarl Magnus Riiber, a triple World Cup champion and the main favorite for gold at the Beijing Winter Olympics, tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday in the Chinese capital. This development puts his participation in the individual event (which includes ski jumping and cross-country skiing) on Sunday in doubt. To be approved for the event, Riiber will need to obtain two negative tests prior to the start.
