Jarl Magnus Riiber has further solidified his extraordinary dominance in the Nordic combined World Cup, triumphing in both events this past weekend in Oslo.
At just 26 years old, Riiber has proven to be an unstoppable force since the onset of winter. After clinching victory on Saturday, the Norwegian skier repeated his success on Sunday, marking his 15th and 16th individual wins of the season.
Sunday's competition began with Riiber showcasing his exceptional skills in the jumping event, where he soared to an impressive 134.5 meters. This stunning jump enabled him to launch into the cross-country skiing segment with a commanding 30-second advantage over his closest competitor, and left the rest trailing by more than a minute and ten seconds.
In the 10km cross-country race that followed, Riiber maintained his lead and crossed the finish line a remarkable 1'10" ahead of Johannes Lamparter, and 2'24" ahead of Kristjan Ilves. French skier Matteo Baud finished in 10th place, unable to keep pace with Riiber's outstanding performance.
