Ski Jumping: Étienne Gouy appointed director of ski jumping and Nordic combined for the French team
The French Ski Federation announced on Monday the return of Étienne Gouy as the director of ski jumping and Nordic combined. This is Gouy's third stint in this position, having first led the French team from 2012 to 2015, during the successful years of Jason Lamy-Chappuis, and then again from 2019 until the Beijing Winter Games in 2022.
In this new role, Gouy will oversee the athletes in both disciplines, with hopes of reviving the teams' fortunes and guiding them towards future successes. His experience and leadership are expected to be pivotal as the French team aims to improve its competitive standing on the international stage.
