World Cup in Cross-Country Skiing 2023/24: Schedule and Swedish Participants

The 2023/24 season of the Cross-Country Skiing World Cup started in Ruka, Finland in November and will conclude with the World Cup finals in Falun in 2024. This article features all the World Cup events along with details on Swedish participants such as Frida Karlsson, Linn Svahn, and Emma Ribom.

Remaining events in Falun: - Friday, March 15: Sprint (qualifying) for men and women at 12:15. - Friday, March 15: Sprint (final) at 14:45. - Saturday, March 16: Classical style distance, interval start (10 km) for women at 11:00, and for men at 14:00. - Sunday, March 17: Freestyle, mass start (20 km) for women at 11:00 and for men at 14:15.

How World Cup points are allocated:

In a World Cup event, the top 50 competitors score points. The winner receives 100 points. Points can also be earned in the sprint qualifications, and the top-performing sprinters gain additional points.

Swedish Team in Falun:

Sweden will field a full team with a maximum of twelve athletes per event, benefiting from home advantage.
