Stina Nilsson missed the podium in Orsa Grönklitt after a tactical miscalculation in the recent Ski Classics race. As the race neared its climax, Nilsson found herself in contention for third place but struggled as Anikken Gjerde Alnes took the inside lane on the final curve, unexpectedly passing Nilsson in a dramatic finish.

SVT's Jacob Hård remarked on the unexpected turn of events, emphasizing that it was a situation one wouldn't expect Nilsson to find herself in. In hindsight, Nilsson acknowledged her mistake in not maintaining her position on the outside at the crucial moment, which led to her losing out on the podium.

Emilie Fleten showcased a dominating performance throughout the race, finishing well ahead of her competitors, with Jenny Larsson finishing 1.34 minutes behind for second place. Larsson commented on her race with satisfaction, noting that while she was pleased with her result today, she had not been satisfied with her performance the previous weekend.

The race at Orsa Grönklitt proved to be not only a test of stamina but also of strategic racing, with mistakes having significant consequences in such tightly contested events. This result will surely serve as a learning experience for Nilsson as she prepares for future competitions.
