SKI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
- Ebba Andersson had a gold medal to defend, and she did just that in the World Ski Championships skiathlon in Trondheim.
- The Swedish star won an incredibly tense sprint duel against Therese Johaug, which was decided by a photo finish.

Jonna Sundling took the bronze medal. Sundling was also in a prime position for gold but fell at the end of the race and lost significant time.
