Gustaf Berglund, who came to the ski-VM in Trondheim as a reserve, made the most of his chance to debut in the 50 km race. The 26-year-old was jubilantly happy when he crossed the finish line in eighth place, 3 minutes and 30 seconds behind the winner, Johannes Hösflot Kläbo.
"Oh, he is so happy, he throws his poles and celebrates, he has skied this 50 km in a fantastic way," said the Radio Sports expert Torgny Mogren.
