Finnish skier Iivo Niskanen won his second World Cup victory of the season in the 10 km classic at Falun, Sweden. He completed the race in 24'54.3, edging out three Norwegian competitors – Johannes Klaebo (12.9 seconds behind), Erik Valnes (17.5 seconds behind) and Martin Nyenget (20.2 seconds behind) – with French Hugo Lapalus finishing in fifth place just 24.5 seconds behind. Mathis Desloges finished 16th with a time of 1'09.9, and Remi Burdin was 20th at 1'14.4.

In the women’s race, Swedish Ebba Anderson emerged victorious with a time of 28'49.3. Norwegian Heidi Weng came in second, closely followed by German Victoria Carl, who finished 28.7 seconds behind the winner. French skier Flora Dolci was the top French finisher, placing 22nd with a time of 1'58.6, while Lena Quintin rounded out the field in 39th place at 3'02.1 behind Anderson.
