The beautiful Val di Fiemme region is set to host the Tour de Ski 2025, with the event's official launch held in Milan featuring a humanoid robot named Robee. This year marks a continuation of the Tour's legacy in Val di Fiemme, which has hosted all editions since its inception.

The event will commence on January 3, 2025, with a Classic Technique Sprint at the renewed Lago di Tesero Stadium. It will then move to a Skiathlon event on January 4, followed by the climactic Final Climb, which concludes the Tour on January 5. This year's Tour will serve as a significant prelude to the Nordic World Ski Championships scheduled in Trondheim, Norway.

Flavio Roda, president of FISI, emphasized the importance of hosting varied winter sports disciplines in one location, highlighting the regional center dedicated to cross-country skiing, ski jumping, and Nordic combined events. Francesca Gerosa, vice president of the Trentino province, remarked on the global exposure the Tour brings to the region, reinforcing the commitment to fostering youth sports and Olympic values as the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina approaches.
