Antti Tuisku's team had a perfect start at the Finnish Championships, achieving gold in their debut competition. 16-year-old anchor Olivia Puranen competed in her first team sprint event. Emmi Lämsä surged ahead, gaining more than eight seconds on her last leg, allowing Puranen to maintain the lead despite being challenged by Teho Ski Team Iisalmi's Vilma Ryytty, who closed the gap to just 0.8 seconds at the finish.

Lämsä commented on the team's strategy, saying, "It was meant for me to sprint as fast as I could and set up a good position for Olivia. The plan worked perfectly."

In the Men's Team Sprint, Jämin Jänne's Ristomatti Hakola broke free from Pohti Ski Team's Joni Mäki in the final ascent to secure the gold for Jämi. Hakola mentioned that he anticipated a tougher challenge from Mäki but defined his strategy to take control of the sprint.
