
Trondheim World Ski Championships Broadcast on Finnish Radio Every Competition Day

Yle Radio Suomi is delivering a true classic in radio sports by broadcasting the live atmosphere of the Trondheim World Ski Championships every competition day throughout late February and early March 2025.
The broadcasts start on Thursday, February 27 at 13:02 and continue through to the men’s 50 kilometre ski race on Sunday, March 9. Each day’s schedule is carefully planned with dedicated live episodes under the title “MM-kisaradio Trondheim 2025”. In addition to the scheduled programming, the event is also being followed live online and on television.
The broadcast team for the championships includes host presenters Sanna Pirkkalainen, Markus Turunen, and Juha-Pekka Taskinen. Live commentaries from Trondheim are provided by Henri Pitkänen and Simo Leinonen, while behind-the-scenes content and on-site updates are delivered by Pekka Holopainen.
