Therese Johaug's Criticism: 'Then I Get Irritated'
Therese Johaug, along with Ebba Andersson, received a yellow card during the mass start race in Toblach for skiing in an area where it was not allowed. While Johaug admitted that she deserved the penalty, stating, "I deserved the yellow card, I made a mistake," she is dissatisfied with the overall management of the zones by the International Ski Federation (FIS).
She voiced her frustrations during a press conference, highlighting her concerns about how the federation handles the rules: "Why do they change them?" added Johaug, reflecting on her discontent with the current regulations.
In the race, Johaug finished sixth and Andersson seventh, both maintaining their positions in the overall standings of the Tour de Ski. American skier Jessie Diggins currently leads the tour, having secured victories in the first two stages and holds a 38-second advantage over Finnish skier Kerttu Niskanen.
