Therese Johaug, 36, has disclosed her ambitions ahead of the upcoming World Championships, where she aims to compete in multiple events. Initially focused on the 50 km race, she has expressed a desire to also participate in other distances depending on her form. "I feel a bit cocky," Johaug said, indicating her confidence as she prepares for the season following her comeback announced last summer.

The World Championships will take place in Trondheim from February 26 to March 9, 2025, with Johaug’s first competitive event in Norway set for November 23 in Beitostølen. Johaug retired in late winter 2022 but is now eager to make her mark in the competitions ahead, particularly the 50 km race with a mass start and the 10 km classic race, as well as potentially the relay event.
